What were your answers?
Not all of us have had the luxury of being able to prepare, before leaving our
mother country and immigrating to a foreign, new country. If you picked
#1, 2, 3, 8 or 9, you would have had time to plan and prepare your move. If you picked #4, 5, 6, 7, or 8, you were fortunate enough to save and transfer some money to your new home.
But many of us considered ourselves fortunate, if we got out of our former land alive, and in good health, with our families. Maybe all we could take was a small suitcase of our most treasured belongings
